Elmo and Friends: Tales of Adventure is a DVD from Genius Products released exclusively to Target for a limited time only on October 7, 2008. The packaging and menus are designed with an Indiana Jones theme, and features Elmo dressed as the adventurer. At 54 minutes in length, the DVD strings together the Street stories from the following episodes:
- Episode 4161 - The Golden Triangle of Destiny
- Episodes 4107 and 4108 - The Adventures of Little Big Bird
- Episode 4154 - Elmo's Amazing Alphabet Race
En Vogue's "Adventure" is also featured twice.
Released less than two months after the Season 39 premiere, this marks the quickest that a Sesame Street project intended first for broadcast TV was released on home video.
