Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker invent a teleportation device, and they drive Kermit crazy by popping in and out around him. A lit bomb teleports into Peter Sellers' dressing room. After being frazzled all night, Kermit perches on a box onstage and sings "Bein' Green". Finally, Bunsen demonstrates the teleporter by sending Beaker and Kermit to Africa, and they come back being attacked by a huge monkey.

Notes

  • Three of the songs featured in this episode were written by the same person, entertainment personality and parodist Abe Burrows. They are: the opening number, A Gypsy's Violin, the second number, Rowlf's rendition of When, and the UK Spot, Memory Lane.
  • One of Peter Sellers most famous quotes can be attributed to this episode: "There is no me, I do not exist. There used to be a me...but I had it surgically removed." Many say this line, in a nutshell, is the perfect personification of the enigma of the comedy and tragedy of the life of Sellers.
