Mrs. Otissa Buttons

Mrs. Otissa Buttons is an elevator operator who appeared in The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss episode "Oh, the People You'll Meet." She assists the Cat in the Hat in showing Julian Jeremy Jaroo Jalloo the many people he has yet to encounter. She's the most decorated elevator operator ever.

Her first name is a reference to the Otis Elevator Company, while her last name refers to the fact that an elevator operator's primary task is pushing buttons.
