The Magical World of Disney

The Magical World of Disney, now called The Wonderful World of Disney, premiered on ABC in 1954 under the name Disneyland. The programming block features a weekly movie or special. Each special usually includes a special introduction by such people as Walt Disney, Michael Eisner, and even characters from that night's program (including the Muppets).
Four Muppet specials were aired under the Magical World of Disney title, and another premiered when the show was The Wonderful World of Disney.
Both The Muppets at Walt Disney World and The Muppets' Wizard of Oz were produced especially for airing during the program.
In the Dinosaurs episode "Network Genius," a schedule board is seen in the background of many scenes. In one scene, one of the programs listed was The Wonderful World of B&W, an obvious reference to The Wonderful World of Color.
