"The Toreador Song" is sung by the bullfighter Escamillo in an attempt to woo the lady for which Georges Bizet's opera is named: Carmen.
It was performed by Fozzie Bear and a Matador in episode 418 of The Muppet Show, and previously in episode 409 as a portion of Pigoletto.
The tune was later sung by Kermit with new lyrics in a public service annoucement for the V-Chip.
